So far today has been a good day. I had Carolyn's class today and we painted in town again. We were supposed to paint in the same lake town that we drew in yesterday, but we are going to do that on Thursday instead. 
I was very happy with today's class because I actually felt fairly comfortable as I was painting and I felt like I was on the right track. Turns out I was on the right track because Carolyn told me I was doing well as I painted and also said that I did a good job during the critique. I am not going to lie. I needed that. Sometimes with plein air painting you need that day when everything seems to be going okay, because most of the time it doesn't :) Here is to hoping that things continue to get better and better.
