Well, once again, I have waited till the absolute last minute to truly get ready for traveling. I still have a 2 page to do list to tackle and less then a week to do it in. Feeling a little stressed like always before a big trip, but I know once I am on the plane I will be completely at peace and ready to take on this amazing experience.
I was on a roll with learning my Italian up until a month ago, so I need to get on track with that again. But mainly I just need to figure out what I am going to pack and how i am going to pack everything I want to take. I think I am going to aim for the theme of "simple living" for this trip. I say this all the time and typically I am able to do this when traveling out of the country. The only difference in this situation is that I am not going to have to carry all of my belongings on my back for a few months. This summer I am actually going to have a home base. I am concerned that this luxury might make it easy for me to over pack. I am going to try to fight it though.....simplify, simplify, simplify. My focus will be supplies and becoming the best artist I can be. Here goes :)
P.S. Oh and to those who keep asking me exactly where I am going, I finally got it together : ) I will be staying in Corciano a few miles outside of Perugia in the region of Umbria. I can't wait!!!
