So I am here and loving it. Corciano is absolute beautiful. Every view already seems like a painting, I just have to put it on a canvas. I am so excited about this experience. There are just so many artistic opportunities and learning experiences here. I have already had plenty of chances to practice my Italian and even French. The couple who owns our flat is really nice. The wife doesn't speak English and obviously my Italian is limited right now, so she asked me if I spoke French when she was showing us around the house. When I said yes, she got so excited and before I knew it we were both running around the flat speaking French as she told me everything we needed to know about her home. It is amazing how language totally changes interactions etc. I love being here and being forced to have to learn the language in order to get buy. Oh and I also am loving our painting experiences so far.

I was thinking about you and decided to check-in on your blog. I'm happy to hear that you are loving it there. Gosh, if I could afford it, I would jump on a plane and travel Italy with you. I swear I left a part of me there.
