Painting in Todi

Today we went to paint in Todi, a very pretty town on the top of a hill about 30 minutes away. There were so many great views and best of all the whole time we were all pretty much in shade. Our first painting for Jason's class we weren't as lucky. I pretty much had shade the whole time, but it was still very hot. At least, we all had chairs today because of our shopping yesterday.

I was able to paint 2 paintings. I am not in love with either one but Jason said the second one was better than the first one and that I had established atmospheric perspective. Oh and I did my second painting in about an hour.

I packed my lunch. Two sandwiches etc but come lunch time I thought I wanted to explore the town a bit and follow the group who went to eat. I also needed to use the restroom at some point. I lost them but I asked a local on the bench in Italian and she told me where the pizzeria was, and when I got there Theo was there and he told me where the rest of the group were and I ended up going to it through all of these small side walks and eventually thought I was in the wrong place so I just took some pictures, but then I heard them talking and went in. I bought a beer, went to the restroom and went back to eat in the park and finish painting.
