The painting day was okay, but I didn't really like my painting. Felt like I was reverting from the previous day. But I did pick up some more techniques and tips from Jason. (PICS + Instructor Jason and my painting...argh!)
After class we went back to get ready for the 10 day festival in
town called IX Edizione Corciano e antichi sapori. (Corciano and ancient tastes.) It is basically a night of food, music and dancing. It was so much fun. I dressed up nicer for
the first time and it felt good, especially after a yucky hot day of painting in the sun. We arrived at the event and Jason and Gabriella helped us order.
I ordered melon wrapped proscuito (I can stop eating proscuito), grilled lamb and we all shared a bottle of red and white wines. It was so good. (PICS = Isaac (Jason's son, Theo, Brandon, and Jen at festival.)
A few drinks later and I was on the dance floor to line dance with the locales. Man can they shake a leg. They did over 5 different variations of line dancing and I was able to pick up on all of them, but each new song was a new dance, so I couldn't retain them. But it was a blast and various people would
try to help as I watched their moves. (PICS = Allison (my other roomie), Sean, April, and the EMT at festival...LOVE their outfits)
Then Gabriella and some other older men started dancing with some of us individually. I struggled at first and stepped on multiple feet, but I caught on by the end. Too much fun. I think Jen has some pics of it that I will have to get. By the end we were sweaty and happy. We shut down the house almost.

Oh and towards the end I was taking pictures of the band (Atmosfera Blu) and they invited me up on stage to continue to do so. My friend Sean jumped up after me and we all got pictures together.
