Art supplies in Perugia/First day of class

Jason organized a trip to an art store near by in Ellera for the morning but at the last minute he decided we would go to Perugia which is bigger, better and beautiful. We were all excited.

Some folks had gelato, some got money and we went to the art store. I ended up only buying 2 nice Italian brushes, but later at the other art store I bought a French easel (ended up having to leave mine at home because my luggage was going to be too heavy.) I asked Jason to ask the guy at the store if I could have a discount since it was the last one and it was in the display and what do you know he took it down from 130 euro to 90 euro. Not bad at all :)

We spent more time in Perugia then planned so we ended up only having 30 minutes to get ready. Not good, but class was great. Carolyn gave us a great color mixing lesson and then we went near the piazza (the main square in town) and painted the landscape up there.

I felt okay with my painting, but I feel like I should be so much better. Oh well. Jason said it looked pretty good when he passed by. Anyway, I hope that I can improve exponentially.

We had another gathering in our flat with Robert and Sean. Another great night.
